Syrah, River Rock Vineyard. One of two wines in this collection. A true exercise in how everything a winemaker does and doesn't do with the fruit, juice and wine, affects the final result. Chris and I both took one ton of Syrah from the same lot in the same vineyard on the same day. We went our separate ways. Helmsdown65 was Chris' username on Match.com when we met in 2007.
